*Lost Ring
Someone has lost a ring in the women's bathroom at the Ivory Ridge LDS Church building.  If you find it please call or text Lori Throckmorton at: 801-649-7730

*Yoga
Sore neck? Back? Hamstrings? High stress levels? Try yoga. We have a yoga teacher in the neighborhood that is willing to share the gift of yoga with anyone that is wanting to try it out. She teaches small groups (she used to teach the RS/Young Women in her last ward), kids, and individuals. She also teaches regular classes at localYOGA in Murray (http://www.localyogaslc.com/). Contact Brandy Wilkins 801-319-8470 (cell - so you can call/text), or brandycarolyn@gmail.com for more information.

She teaches:
- Hatha Yoga (Typical yoga that you will see performed at a gym/etc. - great for beginners and up - good "workout" yoga)
- Vinyasa Flow (Vinyasa-style yoga combines a series of flowing postures with rhythmic breathing for an intense body-mind workout - includes "Ashtanga" style and "Power Flow" - great for beginners and up - good "workout" yoga)
- Anusara (a little more advanced and technical than a basic flow, great for beginners and up - good "work out" yoga)
- DEEP flow/DEEP power (kind of my own "blend" of class - what I typically teach in my regular studio classes - very Iyengar/Anusara/Vinyasa-based - more slow motion, focused on transitions between poses and proper alignment, poses are held for longer periods of time while subtle alignments are made within the posture to improve the alignment and deepen the stretch - great for beginners and up)
- Restorative (very relaxing, poses are held for longer period of time, but completely supported, so muscular strength is not required to hold the pose - great for beginners, minimal fitness level safe, also great for injury recovery/passively realigning stretching the body)
- Thai Yoga Massage (mixture of yoga stretching with Thai Massage, very similar to restorative, but more hands-on adjustment and alignment)
- Kid Yoga (yoga for families/kids - I've taught kid yoga for the past 1.5 years on a volunteer basis... also can teach families - fun family night activity)
*FHE for singles 30-50
To be added to the email list for these activities please call or text Jenny Sorensen at: 801-319-9183

*Local Babysitter Registry

THIS WEEKS EVENTS:

*Fundraiser
Liam Brookhart has an opportunity to go to the Grand National marching band competition in Indianapolis this fall as well as participate in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade next fall with the American Fork Marching Band. As you can imagine, this is not a cheap endeavor. He has two immediate fundraisers that could be a win-win for everyone, if one of them fits your needs.

The first fundraiser is with InsurePro, the insurance brokerage where Brother Wilcox works. If you are interested in seeing if you could get your insurance for cheaper, you can go to www.insurancefundraiser.com/afband.html. You will fill out a brief form, and they will check with reputable companies, such as Allied, Allstate, Travelers, Progressive, etc. to see if they can get you a better rate. They will not sell your information, and they will not hound you. There is no obligation to buy the insurance, just a willingness to listen to the results. The form must be filled out by Friday, August 9, for Liam to get credit.

The second is a mattress sale, Saturday, at American Fork High School from 10 a - 5 p. They will have 20 or so floor models to try out from name brand mattress producers. Because there isn't a storefront with all the overhead and no TV, newswpaper, etc. advertising, the mattresses are significantly cheaper than at a store. Liam also has a coupon for an additional $50 off for anyone who is interested. (Call 801-407-4856 to make arrangments to get a coupon.)
Thank you for your willingness to help!

*Outdoor Fitness Classes
Hi Everyone! I am starting outdoor fitness classes on August 6thClasses will be Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30-7:30 pm.  Check out my blog for locations and more information.  Comment or email me if you have questions.  I have been working as a personal trainer for almost 10 years. I am NASM certified and also have my master's degree in Strength and Conditioning Performance. I love helping people reach their goals and a new level of fitness.
