*Be Cautious When Running Outside Alone
Recently there has been a report of a single female, early morning jogger, being assaulted in the Highland/Lehi area.  Take precautions when running alone and in the dark hours.

*Timp Hwy Commuter Lane Traffic Noise Alert
The Timpanogos Highway commuter lanes have recently opened and with the increased traffic that is closer to us on these lanes comes more engine noise particularly from large diesel trucks.  I have learned that there is a hotline number at UDOT that anyone can call and voice their concerns.  UDOT is collecting feedback in the next month that can potentially affect decisions concerning the usage of these lanes.  They are considering restricting diesel engine brakes or restricting all truck traffic on the commuter lanes (which would help keep our neighborhood quiet and peaceful).  UDOT welcomes feedback from residents near the highway.  The hotline number is 877-222-3757 Or email them at: http://www.udot.utah.gov/sr92/contact.php
